What is a Video Biography?

What Skills do I need?

• Fun and easy to do.  If you can point and shoot a decent video – you can create video biographies.

Do I need Special Equipment?

Video Biography Life Story equipment:

• Requires a video recording camera.
• A tripod is helpful for a steadier film.
• It is best if the camera can use an external microphone.
• Your video recording camera may be sufficient to also take still photos to include in the finished video.
• You could tape and deliver the video on the fly, but a more professional finish requires some type of video editing software on your computer, or stand alone non-linear editing equipment.
• A computer or device for burning DVD copies for your customer.
• Lighting is optional, but provides for better video.

Does your course teach me about photography and filming?

• Teaches techniques for recording and improving your video and photography
• However, this is NOT a photography / film school course.  To improve in your photography and videography skills may require practice and perhaps attending a photography / filming class.
